GingerSnaps
When thinking of different types of music: rock, country, EDA, and jazz, to name a few, it occurs to me that all of these genres, despite their differences, have a shared core component: melody. Melody can sadden just as quickly as it can inspire. Melody can break my heart into a thousand pieces and rebuild it in the same bloody song. What about music touches your heart? Link to comment
vaporous
The thing about music that touches my heart is the detail the artist puts into creating it. I pick up on subtle changes in the tempo, melody, synthesizers, drums or anything else. Sometimes when I listen the second time, I catch something I didn't hear before. This deepens the impact.
