Why forums still matter

I know we have social media, and all that but there's something I still love about forums. It feels more personal, like you are actually part of a real community. You can have full conversations instead of just quick comments. Forums are also the best place to find honest reviews. Personally, I have picked up a lot of useful info that is helped me boost my income, just from reading what others have shared.

Kick rocks, kare. I reported it.

There should be a way (If there's not already) to guide the younger generations from social media over to forums. From tweets to conversations. A conversion to a different type of media that feels natural.

I think the older generation still holds on to it for the reasons you mentioned. Forums are a smaller, more personal sub-division of this big city we call the internet.
