    HIT MY 7TH THREAD

Thank you. These were fun to write. Will wait for your response.😀
  3. I've been sketching once more, not for social media or to achieve perfection—simply for the joy of it. I realized how liberating it is to create without any pressure. What do you do to express your creativity?
  4. I've begun dedicating time to complete one focused task before I check my email or social media in the morning. This has significantly improved my productivity. Do you have a morning routine that keeps you organized?
  5. So, here's a genuine question: what really happens to socks that go missing? I have a theory that there's a separate dimension for socks. I've even begun to save my lone socks in the hopes that they might one day be reunited. Is anyone else doing this?
  6. Certain books remain in your thoughts long after you've read them. Personally, I found that The Alchemist and Atomic Habits had that impact on me. Which books have left a lasting impression on you, and what makes them memorable?
  7. In a world dominated by hustle culture, breaks often seem to be overlooked. I began incorporating 10-minute walking breaks into my routine, and it has significantly improved my concentration. What strategies do you use to refresh yourself on hectic days?
  8. There's a lot of buzz about AI, but I'm interested to know—what AI tools do you find yourself using on a regular basis? For me, Notion AI is great for task organization and content brainstorming. What about you?
  9. Recently, I've been concentrating on achieving small daily victories instead of aiming for big goals. Simple tasks like making the bed, responding to a single overdue message, or increasing my water intake can make a difference. What little habits give you a sense of achievement?

  13. Concerts are a very enjoyable experience for many people; a place to sing along to music, see the artist that you love, and have fun. However, some people find them to be unpleasant and overstimulating. Have you ever been to a concert? If so, what are your thoughts on them?

    Pursuing our dreams

I have discovered that my dream is to become a singer/songwriter, which can be a very difficult thing to pursue. However, I believe determination and hard work goes a long way.

Will AI replace humans in terms of jobs?

I do believe AI is beneficial in many ways, however, I also believe that AI raises problems in the writing industry. It has become common that "writers" use AI to write, disregarding true writers that spend time on what they are passionate about.

    Prayer Moves Mountains

God certainly works in mysterious and beautiful ways. I have had many instances when I asked God to show me a verse that He wanted me to read, I opened my Bible to a random verse, and it was exactly what I needed to hear.

    Who Here Likes Coloring Apps?

I do enjoy coloring apps from time to time. It can be quite calming and entertaining at the same time. I am also very fond of organization, and I find that coloring apps provide that sense of satisfaction.
  18. I haven't tried green tea before, however, I do drink lemon ginger tea, which is very helpful in soothing headaches and sore throats. Not long ago, I had a very bad cold, and I would drink lemon ginger tea every morning, which made me feel much better.

    Music food to the soul

I find it very interesting that music has the ability to make us feel different emotions. It makes us remember certain memories as well, which may be negative or positive.

    Music food to the soul

Music relaxes by soothing your nerves and reducing cortisol secretions. It can promote mindfulness, beat stress, repel negative thoughts and emotions, and even ease muscle tension as well. A daily dose of soulful music is your best bet for sound emotional health.
  23. As we blink, the upper lid of our eyes pulls down a tear film across the eyes. It keeps our eyes naturally moist. For computer professionals and those who work with computer screens all the time, the blink rate goes down significantly. As a result, the eyes become dry, red, swollen, and fatigued. The backlight of the screen further worsens the problem as it has a taxing effect on your eyes if the ambient light is dim. It's advised to take frequent breaks while working on your computer, keep the workplace bright and well-lit, and do blinking exercises to take care of your vision. Additionally, your ophthalmologist can prescribe lubricant eye drips if the intensity of the problem is severe. So, how do you manage your workload and what are the precautions you take to protect your eyes?
  24. I'm a chess aficionado myself and am instantly drawn to your thread. I'm a member of chess.com, one of the biggest sites for player vs player gameplay and regularly play in their tournaments. Coming to theme sets, I'm not too choosy as well. I, however, love to pick a theme that offers a neutral colour scheme and one that is easy on the eyes. I avoid flashy ones as they could distract you in the middle of a see-saw battle. Aesthetics is fine but should not hinder the main process. Cheers!
  25. Green tea is rich in plant-based phytochemical compound called "Catechins". Catechins are powerful anti-oxidants that aid in preventing inflammatory diseases. Health professionals describe it as a powerful anti-oxidant that could neutralize cancer-causing free radicals in the bloodstream. It has also been found to slow down "Atherosclerotic plaque formation" which causes "Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)". Green tea is also indicated in the improvement of cognitive function, prevention of Alzheimer's disease and so on. So, have you made it a part of your daily routine? If yes, how often do you enjoy green tea in a day? Which country boasts of best varieties in green tea, and the downsides of excess consumption if any? Thanks for your insights!

Laptops With a CD/DVD Drive or Without?

Well, I guess it's part of the evolution process of computer hardware. Both CDs and DVDs were great when they first made their way into tertiary storage. However, with the availability of ample cloud storage, high speed internet, secure communication(SSL technology), and cloud-based applications, the tertiary storage has become redundant. So, there you go! A laptop is meant to be mobile and a piece of lightweight equipment is always desirable.
  27. It's not uncommon for children to throw an occasional tantrum or two and is nothing to be perturbed about. Children can show frustration by crying, kicking, and even attempting to bite others. They can be redirected to positive activities and brought back to their normal self. That being said, there's no harm in consulting a mental health professional if the erratic behaviour persists. Several behavioural disorders like ADHD, Autism, Passive aggression begin to manifest after 3 years of age. Best of luck!
