Silva Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 We went out last night to a very expensive restaurant. The portions were small enough that we could manage three courses without too much difficulty, they looked very artistic and tasted fine but, in all honesty, we both agreed that our local pub served just as tasty and nice looking meals at a fraction of the cost. Lesson learned.
spacelover8126 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 That has happened to me before. In July I went to a steakhouse in Key West and had the worst steak of my life! It wouldn't have been so bad had it not cost me so much.
Perfect7 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 It so depends on the restaurant. It is sad when a restaurant counts on their well-known name to get customers regardless of their quality. Some smaller places are better quality because they realize it is necessary for repeat business!
