How do I add an avatar?

Hi everyone, 

I just signed up and am excited to get started, but I can't figure out how to add a profile picture/avatar. I've tried going to 'Account Settings' > 'Edit Profile', but it said I wasn't allowed to do that at this time. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I was wondering the same thing! 

I also tried to change the profile picture when I signed up but wasn't able to, and there are some other things that will bring me to a page that says it's not available for my account. I don't actually know why this is but my guess is that in the application process we are only supposed to follow the directions and make the seven posts (plus one with the 'Hit my 7th' thread), I wonder if this will change and we can do more with our accounts once we finish that process.
