erin212 Posted July 4, 2017 Report Posted July 4, 2017 I’ve been learning more about how the investments in my 401k work, especially the fees. It seems that the more actively managed funds – especially the target date funds – cost a lot more. You can see it in the expense ratios for each fund on your 401k website. I’m tempted to go with more of the “index funds” that aren’t actively managed by a person, they are way cheaper, but seem to still perform pretty well. Has anyone else looked at their retirement plan fees lately? Quote
