shoogywoogy
I just recently watched Dr. Strange, and also the Mod Squad. I'm cat sitting right now and they have Kudo, so I'm trying to catch up for lost time. Is there a movie you have watched recently? And did you enjoy it or not? Quote Link to comment
Mirella
It was a lazy afternoon and I got nothing else to do so i turned on the pc and streamed the classic movie "Schindler's List". And it turned my afternoon around. It was indeed a great film worthy of spending a few hours of my life and it has touched my heart which rarely happens nowadays. Just kidding! Epic movie, it is. shoogywoogy
A very heavy movie. I watched it a long time ago-couldn't do it again-subject matter-would make me cry. Brilliant movie-that's why it touches people. Epic for sure! Quote Link to comment
JoeMilford
I recently went to the theater and saw ALIEN: COVENANT. It was amazing, and I have been a huge fan of this franchise for years now. I was around eight when the first Alien movie came out, and once I discovered these films, I was a lifetime fan. Now, almost forty years later, I am still intrigued with the story-line of the Xenomorph life-form and the human characters who must interact with it, and the dangers it brings, as they travel through outer space. These movies speak to corporate corruption, bio-engineering, alien life, artificial intelligence, and human psychology in a very intelligent and engaging way. Quote Link to comment
VicJo
I just saw THE CURE FOR WELLNESS. Now, this was a creepy movie. I won't provide spoilers here, but the movie takes place mainly in a sanitarium, and there are so many creepy and claustrophobic things that happen that it really made me feel uncomfortable. It blurs the genres of horror and thriller. I would compare it to SHUDDER ISLAND, possibly. The acting and writing was great. I really enjoy seeing a movie like this which challenges me intellectually, and I recommend this film. Quote Link to comment
