harry_hawkeye
To some people the internet is only a place for networking with others. These people spend a lot of time on the internet daily. To some other people the internet is the place where they work. These people also spend a lot of time daily on the internet. Meanwhile people like me, who use the internet for both working and networking, spend most of our time of the day on the internet. We hardly ever find time off the internet. What group of people do you belong? Quote Link to comment
JoeMilford
harry_hawkeye, I am like you--I teach online, social network, blog, and freelance, so it's my job, actually, to be online every day. i have to make sure I stay in shape and stay active because of this, actually. I've been particularly busy with projects today, so other than a few breaks, and a three hour outing and dinner, I have been typing away. Sometimes, I worry this is not healthy, but it does provide a living, so I am stuck with it for the time being. Quote Link to comment
Emperor
For most people, they can’t do without the internet in their life for just one day. Such people spend nearly 70% of their time online. They are addicted to the internet so much that it is becoming a serious problem to them and people around them. These set of people can browse at any time. Even when they are driving, you will see them chatting with their Facebook friends and is bad. I happened to fall into the addicted category. I'm almost helpless because it seems there is nothing I can do about it. The fact is that it has become a major concern to my friends as they can hardly get my full attention when we are together. That’s not the way it should be. I need to take a drastic action to reduce my internet activities and cut down the amount of time I spend online if possible. Quote Link to comment
