What if people all of a sudden saw eye to eye?

What if the world was one day just a place where people pulled in the same direction? Question might be a dreamers question but still I think it is interesting. What would it take? Common enemy? Revelation? Natural progress?

Yes, this is the stuff of which dreams are made. The beauty of nature is variety, which ensures that people can't always see eye to eye. But if it suddenly happens that we all now see eye to eye, I must be honest, I can't imagine what scenario would be created.
