Many providers advertise "unlimited" data plans, but before you sign up for one of these plans, read the fine print. Many of them are not truly unlimited. Yes you can use all of the data you desire but, after a specified amount, usually ranging form 20 to 30 GB for cellular plans and, 12 to 500 GB for home internet, your speed is throttled, or reduced, sometimes to slower than dial up speeds, making most webpages fail to load and, streaming video or music impossible.
