Mean Cat or Scaredy-Cat

My first pet, at age 5, was a male cat named Cisco. I loved that cat! He was very high-spirited and kind of mean. He'd wait in small unseen spaces and then pounce on you when you least expected it. He used to sleep on my bed, but if I moved my feet at all, he'd pounce on them. I'm talking about teeth and claws! Every cat I had after that either didn't have a lot of spirited personality, or they were scaredy-cats, hiding behind the toilet when it rained. We got a cat about a year ago that we named Tinker. He's like Cisco come back to life! Even though he's orange and white (Cisco was black and white), he reminds me so much of my childhood cat. He's definitely a pouncer, and you won't find him hiding behind a toilet for anything!

Have you ever had a pet that was kind of mean, but you loved him/her anyway (or maybe because of it)?

Yes. I have a Siamese who has to see what's going on at all times or he will yowl at the top of his lungs, and we can't really play with him because he gets all excited and starts biting. I've nicknamed him "the Cat Brat."
