A lot of people copy other people's ideas verbatim or without giving any credit to the owners while curating information for their blog posts. This, you must know today, is very unprofessional and wrong as there is no other name for it than plagiarism, and plagiarism in writing is a serious crime punishable by law.

There is no copyright on ideas. It's when someone takes the blog post and reproduces it word-for-word or very nearly that they've committed plagiarism. I don't see anything wrong with using other people's work for inspiration, but when it comes time to write, close the page and do your writing in your own words.
