Removable Battery and Non-Removable Battery

There are several companies out there releasing brands of phones from time to time. The capability of these phones varies since different companies, with different intentions are the manufacturers.

Some of these companies, if not all had already manufactured phones with non-removable batteries.  I don’t actually know their reason for doing this, and I’m not really against it, however, I feel more secured using phones with removable batteries than phones with non-removable batteries.

So, which do you prefer, and why?

I prefer a removable battery. It helps extend the life of the smartphone that I already own. Most batteries are only good for about 1200 full charges before their capacity starts to diminish. With a standard smart phone that is charged once a day, that is about 4 years.

Phones with non-removable batteries can still have the battery removed, but only by people or businesses that have the tools to do so. This can be more expensive than buying a new phone depending on the make and model.

I do prefer Mobile phones with a Removable battery as I can replace them with a fully charged one and can use my phone while my other battery is charging. Mobile Phone manufacturers prefer making phones with a non-removable battery as they help them to make the phone compact and slim. It also helps manufacturers to incorporate features such as water and dust resistant.

People prefer Mobile phones that are slim and light, so phone companies achieve this by sealing the battery inside the Mobile phone.
