Can I ask what type of social studies they are currently learning?

My son is reading about Roman history.... I'll be honest, I NEVER learned any of that. Or, if I did, I forgot all about it!  He is learning about Constantine, Nero, etc.  He has some interesting stories.

Also what social studies do they study in 7th grade in your area? My son will have Texas History next year.
