legomom327
Hi ~ Does anyone know what will happen if you called CPS (child protective services) on a neighbor..... because her house was EXTREMELY dirty (it had dog feces everywhere, bugs flying around, dirty diapers, you get the idea)---- and then the other neighbor decided to pay for a special cleaning service to clean up her house AFTER you made the call? So basically, you called CPS because of a very dirty house, then the house gets super clean. When CPS comes, will they charge you with making a false report? She has four children - all under the age of 6. Should I call CPS back to tell her that the house is clean now? Quote Link to comment
TheLoneJunco
Once CPS has been called, there is a paper trail. If your neighbor does not keep up the house, you can place another call, and CPS will know it is not a one-time issue. Also, they will look at more than the cleanliness of the house. CPS will check things like food availability and general appearance of the children. I think it is very rare for people to be charged with making false reports. Quote Link to comment
