E.M. Skies
Over the holidays, I noticed quite a few postings on the internet from people trying to resell merchandise for a higher price than they bought them for. These items were usually items in high demand and had sold out in stores. I read the comments of these postingsĀ and saw that there were some people who were happy to buy them as a gift for a loved one, but others lambasted these sellers for taking advantage of others. I am in the middle in this debate. OnĀ one hand, I see these sellers as simply knowing the rules of supply and demand and being smart enough to have that knowledge benefit them; on the other hand, these sellers usually buy up a large number of these items, taking away a gift from someone who cannot afford the inflated price that the seller would resell the item for. Where do you stand on this issue? Quote Link to comment
