They can as well be called family codes of conduct. Different families have different rules that guide them. Some factors such as, religion, culture, socioeconomic status, literacy level, type and number people in the family, etc,. determine the rules that govern a given family. The important thing however, is that every family should have rules and ethics that govern them. It ensures that there's peace and harmony in the family. It also helps the family members to be responsible citizens who can he held accountable for their behavior. A family without rules is a chaotic family. Shalom. Quote Link to comment
