Krato
I have been an avid gamer all my life. I was basically raised alongside the old time classic consoles such as the NES and SNES but lately, I have been thinking, why are these new games getting so overly expensive? When I was growing up you never spent 60-70$ but rather some "small" amount. For the current prices, you could easily buy 2-3 games in the past. Unless you have some steady income it's impossible to buy brand new games. Because of the price increase I now very rarely buy them on the release date. Instead, I wait for discounts and sales so the price is somewhat reasonable. So, why did the price increase so much? Is it due to the greed of the developers? Perhaps it's because of the way games are produced nowadays? Do you think that new games are becoming too expensive? Quote Link to comment
