Kakashi2020
Some call it Cartoons and some call it Anime, I'm talking about animated films which both kids and adults love watching. To distinguish one from the other is easy, Animated Films made by western countries like the U.S., is popularly known as "Cartoons", but in Japan where it is considered as a sub culture, Japanese made animated films are called "Anime". Anime is a big deal in Japan, because most of the animes where based on serialized "Mangas", which are like western comic books. The majority of the Japanese population including adults are avid readers of Manga Books since the 1950's, and these readers along with the younger generation have now become anime enthusiasts. So whenever you see an adult or even an old person watching an animated film, well, don't judge him as weird, just remember that in Japan, Anime is a thriving culture and a way of life for some.
