iOS or Android, what do you prefer?

Hello everyone!

I would like to know what smartphone or tablet operating system you prefer. Do you like the simple and minimalist iOS operating system? Or do you like the unrestricted and open-source Android?

Many people prefer Android because of their unrestrictive operating system. You can install any apps that you want without the operating system locking you from installing 3rd party apps. You can easily customize your smartphone when you are using an Android device too.

On the other hand, people also like Apple's iOS because of its security. It restricts users from tweaking most of its hardware and software settings to prevent those who don't know what they are doing to stay away from dangerous settings. They also give timely software updates because the iOS doesn't need to go through a manufacturer like Sony, Samsung, etc. before you receive it on your iOS device.

How about you? Which smartphone operating system do you prefer?

My choice of smartphone is not based on the operating system but on the features and functionalities that will address my needs.  One thing that I would not want to lose is the stylus which Samsung unit has with its Note series. I may try iOS if iPhone will have stylus.

I do prefer Android. I have some experience using iOS, but I find it rather impractical. First of all, there are too many limitations for me: I could not use extra flashcards, my device simply switched off when I was outside in summer (+40° C) and in winter (-20° C). Everybody knows that when an iPhone's screen is broken, it is rather costly to replace it.

I personally have always been a fan of the Android phones, my wife is pro Apple any day of the week. When i pick up an IOS phone, it just feels simplified. I don't develop apps, but I do know Android is much easier to develop apps with. It feels like IOS is generally second on the list of apps that are developed for mainstream companies implementing new apps into the marketplace.

I personally own iOS.I Prefer iOS most of the time but there are some occasions where I prefer to have Android. I love how the Apple sets and maintains its privacy and quality levels. On the other hand, Android has many, many of the functions that iOS is never ever going to have any time soon.

Android is an open source operating system which gives people the ability to fully customize it whether it's a most expensive phone or the cheapest. However, iOS users don't have that freedom and the prices are a bit too high if compared to Android smartphones but iOS gives the premium and professional phones with some of the best machinery and material used.

I presently own an iOS phone. I recommend iPhone because of the speed and security built with it. I love how apple deal with the customers for their satisfaction. I as a iPhone user is very well satisfied on the performance of Apple. They always update software to make things improved. They do not let Apple users to be outdated or something. I really admire Apple for giving the best security for smartphone users. Also the speed of the phone and OS is good for me because it never gave me a problem regarding to the speed of the phone. Although sometimes it crashes but it is naturally occurring on all phones so nothing to worry about. I really love iOS.
