Avibiel Jeremiah
Ensuring safety and security for citizens against crime and terrorism is a federal duty. People elected for the job of governing our communities with law and order should prioritize security for the legal voters and tax-payers--the rich and the poor. And not misuse and abuse tax-payers' money by neglecting their voters' trust. About 90% of citizens feel that strategic installations, maintenance and use of surveillance cameras (CCTV) in public places, such as parking lots, shopping strips and malls is mandatory--- for the citizens' safety and protection. People want to feel safe and protected by all means at all times. Times are different now. This tightly held by-gone sentimentality silencing the need and voice of every individual in the streets and places of businesses are no longer applicable in our day and age. We want more surveillance cameras in place. In your opinion, should we increase the installations of surveillance cameras in public places? Why or why not? Support your position.
