ryugun46
Many people have this question in mind and they want to know if they are being harmed by the internet. I would say it depends on how they use it. The internet is a useful place if you use it correctly. I get a lot of help from the internet everyday. So I don't think that internet is harming us. grimmsly96
The internet is perhaps the most useful invention of modern times. I'm sure that its benefits outweigh any negative effects it has had on us. This question is highly subjective, however. What might be useful to some, might also be terrible to another. Ultimately, it's up to the individual. Quote Link to comment
superman2727
I guess no, internet doesn't harm us. Internet has nothing to deal with it. They are just part of the blooming technology in present times. Internet serves as a savior or a foe for us depends on how we use it for our everyday life. Some people can live everyday without an internet but some can also live without internet but their life was too boring for them. Internet engages us and gives us a different path to choose for. I you would use internet for your bad habit or you will abuse using it, I guess you are ruining your life. As I said, internet can be a friend or a foe. So better decide how you will gonna use it. Think wisely for your future. Internet may help us for modern times but I suggest that you should limit yourself in using it. Quote Link to comment
franco3113
The internet is a controversial place, but no more controversial than reality. The internet is a constant battleground between good and evil, but this was expected. You can be an optimist or a pessimist, but the fact remains that many disabled people have benefited from job opportunities on the internet (opportunities that wouldn't otherwise exist). ydmac
The internet has changed our lives in so many ways. Got a question, go to your favorite search engine and find your answer. In younger years, when I needed to know the answer to a dilemma, I would go to my local library. The internet has made life a little more convenient. However, has it made for a lazier generation? The internet, in my opinion, has created a lazier generation not to mention a lack of socialization. Attempting to have a conversation with a younger person with a technical device, is almost impossible. I believe, the internet is a invaluable tool. However, with anything -- too much of a good thing can be bad. Quote Link to comment
samanthaalleah
No, it doesn't. Although at first, one might think that yes, it certainly does. But if you sink deeper into the question, no, it certainly doesn't. We are the one harming ourselves by getting engrossed too much on such things. We all know that too much is bad. And getting engrossed too much in the internet makes us do unhealthy things to ourselves. We've forgotten about our priorities, we've forgotten about our lives outside of that four-cornered screen we had stuck our noses with. Having our lives wrecked and then blaming it all on technology, or for this instance, on the internet, don't you think that's ironic? Because humans made the technology, we invented these because we wanted things to be simple for us. Internet isn't forcing us to sit all day in front of our laptops or PCs or gadgets, we are the one who just can't seem to snap back from our trance into reality. This situation is just like people blaming rape victims for their choice of clothing. No one will be raped if everyone else out there have control over themselves. Don't blame your lack of self-restraint and self-discipline on other people's freedom. Quote Link to comment
