A.I... Helping or hurting?

  We are a society that as to do very little thinking for themselves already just by the virtue of  being plugged in. Don't want to type? ...Just say o.k.google 3 times and whoola...it does it for you. Don't ever want to learn to spell words correctly? There is spell check on your phones and dictionary on your laptops. When I saw the commercial for the A.I. bot Alexa and she answers your door, picks out your movies or sound track for the night,  controls the temperature in  your home and oh so much more it began to make me fear for us as a society. I am not saying this is really cool but if you are honest with yourself exactly taxing and inconvenient are the chores she takes off your hands. If we don't start taking a little initiative and handling things ourselves, I shudder to think of what we could evolve into.
