ImaJean
Does anyone have any friends/relatives who did college online to get a degree? I was thinking about it, mainly because of cost reasons and flexibility. There is this online college program which is supposed to be really good. It's called Lumerit. I know there are lots of others but this one sounds reasonable cost-wise.... Quote Link to comment
livi031197
I took several online courses during my undergrad. I also took in-person courses. Honestly, I think it depends on the major. If it was something hands-on like nursing or broadcasting, I would recommend in-person courses. But for something like English or history, online would be fine. With that being said, make sure you're comfortable with reading and discussion boards before enrolling in online courses. Quote Link to comment

Sarabella
My mother took Accounting online through one of the local colleges. She loved it! She usually was ahead of the class with all of her assignments. She would go to the campus to take her tests and final exams. She is thinking of taking some more classes and this time I may join her. She got her Accounting degree with no problem. Quote Link to comment
