SommerMadness
Don't you get sick and tired of seeing people debating over music? Music is subjective! Everybody's not going to have the same taste and opinions about music. People like what they like so debating them about their taste in music it's really dumb to me. Just say what you like and that's it. No need for arguing. Quote Link to comment
Nickel
Music taste is definitely personal, so yes, no point arguing about it! Friendly debate about certain musical things like a singer's best or worst songs can be cool, though. Do you find any Beatles songs annoying? What did you think of the last rap album you heard? It's all about respecting differences and wanting to figure out what other people think and feel. Quote Link to comment
abstractizm
I like music debates, if they are covered by facts that i can check. When I debate with a person over our music tastes, i consider it a good way to learn about different music, of course if a person is eligible to talk about it (has a valid point and is informed of the saying). Debate is something that can give you new informations, however I also think that arguing (not debating) over if somebody's music taste is okay or not is pointless and stupid thing to do. Gusti10_
There's no way you can debate about music. Every person could interpret music in his own way. It's true, there may be better musician than others, but that's not the point. It's all about what you feel when you listen to different styles of music. It's pointless to argue with someone about his taste in music because as we all know, everyone is different and has the right to choose what he likes or dislikes Quote Link to comment
