LAKnows
When I was a single mom of toddlers, money was extremely tight. To make ends meet, I shoveled snow for "an offering," and made $30 in 3 hours - not too bad for the early 80's. I bartered childcare with trusted neighbors, cleaned rental units, catered meals for special events, and sold coupon books (highest seller) while working a full-time job. Much to the chagrin of a co-worker, one of my cost-saving measures was taking grapes off the stem so I could save money. I don't do that anymore, but with groceries costing so much, I'm wondering what cost-saving measures people are taking at the grocery store these days. Quote Link to comment
