Twinmomofgirls
Photography is such a fun way to express yourself. I love to take pictures of my family. I would love to learn more on how to use my camera but just do not have the time. I am actually taking pictures at a wedding this weekend. They can be very stressful due to the fact you only get one shot. Quote Link to comment
6-appeal
I have taken photos at several weddings myself, friends and family. Digital cameras are great for this because you can see the results straightaway. I always take three or more shots of each scene or group, and pick out the best one from them. Quote Link to comment
Larryjh76
Here are some lessons I have learned over the years as a professional photographer: (1) Test your camera before the shoot, and make sure it is working properly. (2) Get new batteries for the shoot, or make sure your camera is completely charged and ready to go. It is a terrible feeling to show up at a photo shoot, and realize that your batteries are almost dead! (3) Have backup batteries just in case something goes wrong with the batteries you are using. (4) Take multiple shots of each person, group, or scene. You'd be surprised at how many pictures you will have to take in order to get one great one. (5) When taking pictures of people at weddings, always use the 1-2-3 method: "Okay, on the count of three: One, Two, Three --- click". That way, you can give them a brief moment to get themselves ready to have their picture taken, and you can reduce the "I wasn't ready, take it again" complaints that can occur. (6) Most importantly, HAVE FUN! You're doing what you love, and you're getting paid to do it. Most people would love to be able to do that. Quote Link to comment
cofarasu
Photo is an art in the true sense of the word, even though there are still disputes on this subject, because there are also voices who believe that photography represents a mechanical reproduction of reality, and imitation can not be considered a form of artistic expression. But the second statement, according to which photography is an imitation of nature, is not at all founded. Photo should not be understood at all as an imitation of nature. Quote Link to comment
myraf99
Photographing is a very essential thing in human life because it is one of the things that we can us to remember the past. I myself do not have a camera or know how to snap but i always hire a photographer to do that for me anytime i need that service. It will be good we always take pictures or videos in any event or occasions we find our selves so that we can use it to remember the past in the future. Quote Link to comment
Jpoole70
I was stunned to learn how more pictures have been taken since the introduction of iPhones. They state that it is something like 1.5 trillion photos a year now and growing. I know that I take many more pictures now then I use to before I had an iPhone. I am constantly snapping away on vacations, family gatherings, you name it. Not saying that I am getting any better at photography, but at least I know instantly when my thumb is in the corner of the picture now. Quote Link to comment
