We have a theme for every Christmas occasion and then to those who have a unique costumes will be rewarded. We will wait until 12 in the morning and then we eat the foods that are prepared in the table. We also have some parlor games for the children so that they won't be bored while waiting. Thoughtful-Sage Posted November 27, 2018 Report Share Posted November 27, 2018 Before I married my wife and I was with my family we always waited until the day after Thanksgiving to put up the tree. We would have all the gifts Christmas day morning. When I married my wife the tree erecting stayed the same but it was her family tradition to open a gift the night before and then the others on Christmas day. My Dad always made eggnog with real eggs and milk. So now I make some every year as well. Quote Link to comment
