TrashPanda403
I'm a widower and I think I'm ready to try dating again. I'm reasonably tech literate and want to try online dating. Ladies I need your advice. What kinds of things should I highlight on my profile and what should I avoid? What gets your attention? What makes you smile when you read a man's profile? What makes you cringe? Little help? Please and Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Elyse Alomar
There's great news for you, TrashPanda. Since you're a widower, I'm assuming you're on the 50+ side, in which case the numbers are in your favor -- there are more women then men in the dating pool. So, you'll probably find getting dates much easier than you think. Here's what you absolutely must NOT do: No bathroom mirror selfies No poses holding fish Do make sure to have a friend (or maybe one of your kids, if you have them?) take some good pictures of you -- go outdoors in the late afternoon when the light makes everyone look great. As for what to write, just be upbeat and genuine. Good luck! Have fun!! Quote Link to comment
