Some people say that word of mouth is the best form of marketing. If it is best form of advertising then it is precious as well. Something that is precious can be bought and sold. All the advertising agencies are now trying to understand the user preference in order to create relevant ads. It means that every person see a different kind of advertisement. The issue is that advertisers depend on the data collected by various sources to create identity based ad. In case the information is outdated or inaccurate then the user would get ads that are not preferable. It is possible that the user would try to switch to some platform that does not show irrelevant advertisements. Quote Link to comment
