A smartphone or a tablet

I prefer smartphones because they are light, very portable and easy to use. From my experience some application on google play store on a smart device are not available on a tablet and vice versa. Tablets are generally heavier than smart phones. Which one do you prefer to use and why?

Just like you, I also prefer smartphones for similar reasons to yours. But it also depends on the make of the gadget, for example Apple's version the iPad has more functions than many smartphones.

In my humble opinion, smartphones outrank their bigger counterparts.
