What are your favorite traditions for Christmas or the holidays in general? We need to make some new traditions, and I would love to hear what others do to celebrate the season. My kids are getting too old for some of the things we've done in the past, like Elf on the Shelf.

I didn't necessarily mean to tell him about it, but more just to know he is alive. His posting on Facebook took care of that, so the call was no longer necessary to ease your mind.

I'd be a little alarmed if someone told me that they had dreamed of my death, so I wouldn't mention it if I were you. I often dream about my deceased parents, but that's probably a very common dream.

A friend of mine had a home birth today! Unfortunately I didn't make it before the baby was born, but I got to hold him when he was just two hours old. He is adorable and I'm so excited that she had a successful home birth. It sounds like it was very peaceful.

I have been without cable TV for about three years now. I discovered Roku and decided that I had paid for television long enough. When you buy the Roku box, you have access to "channels" which you can get free along with some paid channels if you wish. The main channel I use is my Netflix subscription. I finally even got rid of the DVD by mail portion of Netflix and use the streaming service exclusively. Between all of the free channels I have and my Netflix streaming subscription we have all we could ever watch. My wife and I have been very satisfied with the entertainment we have now.

What's your favorite part about working for PFP? Mine is that the owners are so approachable. Getting paid to do something I enjoy is great, too, of course!

I was recently told about a really neat painting class, so my daughter and I tried it out yesterday. It's called Spirited Art, and you pay a small fee and they provide all the supplies. It was a lot of fun!
