Catherwood and her toddler daughter get lost in the woods of 17th century New York. Youmans' poignant retelling and imagery draw the reader into the foreign beauty and struggle of Catherwood's experience. If a reader can get his/her hands on a copy of the book, it should be read and passed on. Quote Link to comment
