sodapops Posted August 17, 2017 Report Share Posted August 17, 2017 Globalization has become very prominent in the last century, with many different groups of people traveling and settling in new countries. There are many pros and cons to globalization. One negative aspect of globalization is that some foreign people who settle in a new country have a harder time retaining their cultural identity in their new host country. But a positive aspect of globalization is that culture/food/ideas/etc is more easily dispersed around the world. I find globalization to be a great thing. Not only do I get to experience new cultural practices and learn things from someone with a unique experience, but some of my closest friends have been people who live on the other side of the globe.
