Does more ram means more performance?

Does more ram means more performance? Every android device nowadays have more or less 3-4 GB of ram, On the other hand apple devices tends to have less ram. Even after that I've yet to see an apple device to lag whereas most of the android device face lags. What might be the reason ??

I don't think ram is the issue if you need more performance. You need to check also that the device must be balanced in their systems because even if you have a 6 GB of ram, but your processor has only a dual core in it, then it would just be a bottleneck. The processor would cause the lag of your cell phone, not the ram. Apple devices, I guess, tend to have a quality processor with just enough ram that qualifies most apps and games at this current year.

RAM can only increase memory capacity and memory speed. In some cases, adding RAM is a better solution because the phone processor can read data from RAM much faster than your phone storage device. But For optimal performance balanced and supported hardware is more helpful. Apple Phones are having just the right size of RAM required to support the processes.
