The first step is to create a profile in many freelancing websites like Upwork.com, Freelancer.com and more. Complete the profile with all the necessary information like past experience, skill set etc. Start applying for the jobs that fall within your skill set. Initially, you can quote low amounts to bid the project. It will take some time to build up the profile and get some projects. Don't lose your hope and keep applying till you get the first project. Another option is to directly apply for remote or work from home jobs posted on the websites like Indeed.com, Glassdoor.com, Craigslist.com and more.
