Children, flowers, not weeds

While we are aware that children are the future, some parents forget that children cannot grow/nurture themselves. I observe children who are raising themselves many time. When you see then on the street and ask them where their parents are, They might say "at home" or "at work" or "I dont know". Then when you ask "does your parent know you are on the street?" they might say "I don't know" or " No". Now that for me is a no-no, you must know at all times where your children are, what they are doing and with whom. If these children who are being brought up so wild like weeds are going to be tomorrow's leaders, I am worried for the future of our society.
