In the case of federal employees, they have to show up for work to keep their jobs, but are receiving pay stubs that say $0.00. Some workers won't receive back wages so even if their pay were to return on Monday, it will take them a long time to recover. Many of us are frugal out of necessity or habit so what advice would you give someone to stretch a dollar? Quote Link to comment
craftinglover Posted January 18, 2019 Report Share Posted January 18, 2019 Maybe they should try to do things themselves instead of buying them ready, like for example: I like to make my own pizza dough and my own pizza, I also do shortcrust pastry and lots of other stuff. Maybe they could also grow their own food, even if you have a small apartment you can grow vegetables in safe containers. Quote Link to comment
