Nadj Posted June 5, 2019 Report Share Posted June 5, 2019 The pursuit of knowledge has been, and still is, the single most potent driving force that lead humanity to where it is today. Knowing how to survive was the driving force for our ancestors at the dawn of the human species, improving our way of lives was for the most part during the industrial age and nowadays improving on the knowledge and techniques we developed overtime seems to be the norm. Knowledge is everywhere and it seems that we can never get enough of it. Like energy, our civilization needs it to develop the means of improving the quality of our lives and to always be one step closer to answering the secrets of the world we live in. You can gain knowledge by simply reading a book or by listening to a lecture. But wisdom is only acquired through life experiences. Someone who doesn't get out and experience life will never be wise.
