turtleman Posted January 28, 2020 Report Share Posted January 28, 2020 I've launched a little website recently and I would like to generate some traffic from the search engines (mainly Google). I see conflicting advice on the web (of course!). Some people say that the most important thing you can do is create good content and update your site frequently. Others say that social media like Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest are the way to go. Still others claim that I'm going to have to pull out my wallet and buy ads. Does anyone here have any experience in this field? I'm not doing this to make a buck; I just want to get some readers and maybe even start a dialogue with some of them. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I am particularly interest in specific examples. Quote Link to comment
