Mild for 2 Posted March 22, 2020 Report Share Posted March 22, 2020 Because some people are difficult to separate the events in the movie with everyday reality so that the events that are displayed on the screen will make them inspired to do the same thing. Most film also based on existing conditions in today's society and it makes easier for people to imitate and execute certain conditions in the screen to their community. Quote Link to comment
Boudica5 Posted March 30, 2020 Report Share Posted March 30, 2020 Personally, I think it is a cop out for people to say they did something because of a film/TV series/song, etc. I also believe they CAN separate reality with what's on the screen, and just think they will get in less trouble or be forgiven if they say such and such movie made them do it or gave them the idea. I think it's pretty rare for someone not to be able to differentiate between reality and tv, etc. Quote Link to comment
